My three year old son loves this game. I haven't even had time to sit down and play a proper round with him yet, but he loves it all the same. When he wakes up in the morning or when he comes home from Pre-K he takes out all the penguins and carrys all their eggs to the rug and sits them all down in front of him to play. Every nite when I clean up I have to make sure all the eggs are there because he likes to hide them all over the house in his secret hiding places. I love the Blue and Orange Toy company. In fact, we have bought many of their games. Another one of his favorits is the elephant game where they stack on top of each other. The dice is his favorite part from that game.

My four year old has had a great time playing the game and also playing with the penguins - inventing her own games with her friends.

This cute wooden game is great for the just-learning-to-play games set. There are a few variants but really very simple - roll the colored dice and find the matching penguin egg. I like the fact that it is not tied into some huge marketing campaign, just cute little penguins and colors. No batteries required!
