But I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of this poof compared to just about every poof I've ever owned. The lather, the secure tight construction, and the density makes showering so much breezier, I guess I didn't realize the amount of energy I had spent in the shower with my previous poofs (which were prone to quickly fall apart) until I got this one. My husband liked that it was not scratchy on his skin and lathered well but I thought it lost its shape and fell apart too easily and too soon. I prefer a firmer bath sponge for better exfoliation. I bought it just to make my cart over $25 for free shipping, and I'm glad I did. It creates lots and lots of suds. Perfect for using with moisturizing soap to shave. It's less scratchy than other loofahs, yet it is still a gentle exfoliator. Pros Cons

In addition, the mesh is definitely softer than your typical bath sponge, so it's gentler on your skin and lathers effectively too. Overall a great buy, especially when on sale, so I've stocked up.
