I bought this brush specifically for dry brushing my skin for the health benefits that promotes. I do not use it in the shower so I don't know how it fares when wet or soapy. As a dry brush I think it feels very nice. Although I have not detached the brush head from the handle it seems as though you can and there's a strap on the head.

I had a similar brush and it lasted for years. This one was very poorly made and fell apart in six months. Spend your money elsewhere.

I wanted a hand brush and this was the only one available. It got bad reviews, but it was cheap so I purchased it. I had trouble removing the handle and when I finally did, some of the wood splintered.

I was editing a book on cosmetic surgery, in which the doctor recommends a lot of other things before surgery. One of the things he said would increase beauty is to do a body scrub with a natural-bristle brush. He said brush all parts of the skin toward the heart.

The bristles on the brush I had were too stiff, and this one was just stiff enough for stimulation without damaging the skin. I wish the bristles were a little more densely packed, but this works just fine.

Plus, the price is right. I looked around town for a natural-bristle brush and couldn't even find one that was appropriate to use. This one was only something like $7.00, and it's exactly what I was looking for. I thought I'd have to pay a lot more.

This is the best bath brush ever! Handle is angled perfectly to allow for easy reach all over the back. Bristles are just right--not too hard, not too soft. Holds up well if kept in the shower.

I like this brush very much for dry brushing. I do not use it wet. I have left the packing sticker on where the head attaches to the handle so as not to have the head fall off during storage. A minor flaw in a good product.

Haven't yet used the product. But was disappointed in the use of tape that left a sticky tape residue after it was removed. It wouldn't come off with water, or with rubbing alcohol. Using soy bean oil I had on hand removed it completely in seconds. Gave the product a lemony fragrance and probably increased the wood handle's resistance to wear from water. Probably could get similar useful effects using any vegetable oil you happen to have in your kitchen.

I usually break off the handle because it's so long. Not an easy task to do, but a couple of hammer hits and it's off. I love the gentle exfoliation I get everyday with it. I replace it 2x a year.

Living on a farm, I end the day with chiggers and ticks no matter how much DEET I spray on myself. There was one spot on my back that I could never reach with scrub gloves, especially now that I have shoulder problems. And that's where I would get insect bites, since I couldn't scrub them off! Now I can scrub everywhere with soft yet sturdy bristles that really suds up. The handle is long and feels good in the hand. There is a strap on the back of the brush head so you can apply pressure when the handle is not needed. After using, rinse well and hang to dry. I also use it to apply lotion and anti-itch cream to that spot on my back I can't reach. Good for scratching, too -- not too harsh, not too soft.
