Comments about Boiron Calendula Ointment, 1 oz:

Had ezcema on entire face, red and sore around the eye area, my eyes throbbed for several weeks. Applied this ointment around eye [eyelids and under eyes] and on the third day, the redness and soreness were gone.

This ointment in combination with Spectrum avocado oil [also from drugstore.com] banished the over a month-long ezcema oon my face. Avocado oil is regenerative, soothing and moisturizing with its high vitamin E content while calendula healed the burn and ezcema.

Comments about Boiron Calendula Ointment, 1 oz:

I had surgery on my lip to remove a lipoma (fatty tumor). The lip is a very sensitive area. I used the meds the surgeon recommended for 2 days and then switched to Calendula as recommended by my friend who is also my accupuncturist. Calendula immediately began the healing. This ointment has no taste, so I will continue to use it as a lip treatment gloss!!! I love it!

Comments about Boiron Calendula Ointment, 1 oz:

I first tried this because I had a large rash on my shin for about 11 months and for which I had tried many many things to get it cleared up. This included a couple of prescription medicines that did absolutely nothing except for some (extremely temporary) itch relief. I had noticed Vaseline gave me some very small relief, but didn't actually heal the rash (most lotions also gave temporary relief, but possibly even irritated it further). Still pursuing a solution, I found an online Materia Medica and from that selected both Rhus tox and Calendula ointment as the next thing to try. Success: the rash first healed and then cleared up entirely in 7 days. This experience has sold me. Now I keep it around and use it for small cuts, scrapes, etc.

Comments about Boiron Calendula Ointment, 1 oz:

Almost a week ago, I wore the WRONG heels out and walked WAY too much for my own good. The back of my right heel literally bled, and was deeply peeled/cut, so much so, I could not believe the sight of it- just skinned terribly. I initially put some Bacitracin ointment on it, for a couple days, which protected the wound. Then I remembered I had this on hand for emergencies, and had never used it before. The product itself states that it promotes healing, and being homeopathic, I thought it might help- but my hopes weren't sky high; I just needed something to put on the injury right away- just this and a bandaid. After just a couple days, I was amazed at how fast my cut (more of a gash) was healing- now, only a few days later, something that looked like it would take day after day of healing, is nearly scabbed over and not even close to being as bad as it started off as. I just put a little on and cover with a bandaid- in a couple days, I doubt I will even need to do that. Bottom line, if this can help a severe cut, it can soothe and heal minor scrapes and burns easily. I even use this on chapped lips and cuticles- it's quickly turned into a multiuse product for me. I'm totally sold.

This ointment is wonderful!! I put it on scrapes, burns, cuts - everything. Recently I had a mole removed and the doctor told me to put Vaseline on it. After a couple days of the Vaseline, I switched to this and I think it's made a big difference in the healing process. I really like it and will never use Neosporin again!
