Taking this product won't hurt you, but unfortunately it won't make you feel better either. The main ingredient is derived from goose liver, and is diluted to a point that it is very unlikely a single molecule of the active ingredient exists in the entire box. This is true of any medicine with a dilution greater than 12C, and is called Avogadro's limit. This product goes well past that limit with a dilution of 200C. That would be similar to crushing up some aspirin, mixing it up into a vat of water the size of our solar system, taking a sip, and expecting your headache to be cured. That may sound like a joke, but I assure you its not. Please don't take my word for it though, do your own research on how homeopathy dilutions work and see for yourself.

I have been using this product (as well as other Boiron products) for close to 20 years and Oscilli and Esberitox are the BEST to ward off a cold. You take the first dose, when you first feel like you're coming down with something (if take it when you already have a cold, it won't work). Normally, I take 2-3 doses and can avoid a cold completely. I use it on my 8-year old daughter too and she's never skipped school due to a cold. I also take it, when it looks my daughter is coming down with a cold (even if I don't have any symptoms). I haven't had a cold in years!!

Our grankids were visiting over Christmas break & our grandson age 7 came down with severe headache, chills, and fever with NO energy. I went to our health food store to find something that would work for children. I was told about this product which said good for all ages over 2, so I took it home to try it. My son was skeptical at first but he administered it 1 vial every 6 hrs or as close to that as possible...we didn't wake him to give him the doses exactly on time. he also gave him children"s ibprofen liquid. By the time we needed to give him the 3rd dose he was SO much better and by the next day he was ready to go to lunch with his granma!!! AMAZING!!!! so much so, that my son AND my husband asked for some because they were coming down with the flu headache and aches associated with it. Their symptoms began to dissipate with the first dose and by the 2nd dose were feeling sooo much better I had to remind them to take the 3rd!! My other son who was the carrier of this flu...is in his 2nd week of coughing and congestion....(we didn't know about this when he was coming down with it) My grandaughter age 10 also found relief! It sure beats going to the ER and getting prescriptions with side effects! I will ALWAYS have this on hand and I LOVE the SINUS TABLETS for sinus headaches. This company is AWESOME!!

I've used this product for years at the earliest sign of oncoming flu. It's been rare that it hasn't worked but always upset my stomach. I was recently very disappointed to learn that this (and all homeopathic meds) have a lactose base. Take with lactaid or something similar if you're sensitive.

I bought this for my son and daughter-in-law as they had tried it while vacationing with friends. It seemed to stave off the colds they had starting. They will purchase this again.

This was recommended by a friend. The ingredients are listed as "Anas Barbariae Hepatis Et Cordis Extractum." Many people will surely not care, but my family and I are vegetarians, so figuring out that this means liver and heart of Muscovy duck was pretty upsetting. I'm used to seeing gelatin in some medications, but duck offal? That is repugnant to me. I would never have purchased this if I'd realized what the ingredients really are.

Note that the ingredients are printed in Latin. This is misleading to the consumer, as it takes a bit of research to find out what you are really consuming in this medication.

When we feel a cold/flu coming on - the typical symptoms being body aches, swollen glands, fever, sluggishness, overall icky feeling - we ALWAYS take this product.

Does it always work ? To be honest, no. We've have gotten sick ONE TIME after taking this. But only that one time.

After the 50 or so times we've used this with only one full-blown sickness resulting, you'd better believe we are stocked up on this ALL.THE.TIME.

I heard about this product while looking for something to alleviate flu symptoms in my 6 yr old son this past summer when the emergency clinic at the Dr's office was swamped and I didn't want to spend two days in the ER for a relatively minor illness. I did my research, read the good and bad and decided for the [$] at the local drug store it was worth a shot. My son came home from a half day camp off the school bus so achey he could barely climb the driveway. He had a high fever, fatigue, sore throat. He received the first dose of oscillo that afternoon. Second dose at bedtime. By the NEXT morning, he was feeling better. That was Thursday. By Friday (we took all doses every 6 hrs as directed even if I had to get up in the night to administer) he had NO symptoms. Placebo my butt! I figure since my 6 yr old does not have, IMO, the "mind over illness" power yet, this stuff really works. Since then it has saved two family vacations. I use it ANY time there are suspected cold OR flu symptoms because it knocks them right out. Continue taking Oscillo as long as you're not feeling well and at least twice when you are (every 6 hours). I feel very good giving it to my children because it's safe for them to take, it's easy, it is fun (they like the litte "rocks" melting in their mouths) and it works!!!!
