The good news is that this product works as well if not better than the other OTC products, such as Monistat. I have had a chronic yeast infection for almost six months, and so far this has seemed to keep it under control. It may not have cleared it completely, in which case my doc has prescribed the Boric Acid to finish the job, but this product has done MUCH better than the other ones, including Diflucan and Monistat. It is messy, but I found that it was because the applicator does not get the suppository up high enough...like another poster, I just inserted it myself without an applicator. Wear a long pad at night, put a towel down on the sheet where you sleep. The great thing for those of us with a chronic infection that returns each month is that this is a more natural way of going about treating it and it does work.

I am only giving this product 3 stars because I never could get the suppositories to stay in long enough to give it a good trial. Kept sliding out. If you are like me and have frequent urination when you have a yeast infection, or if you have interstitial cystitis or overactive bladder, do not waste your money on this. It will literally end up in the toilet!

However, turns out the short time when they were in place was enough to give me relief. The next morning, no burning and no itching. So, it does work. Give it a shot--just make sure you are already IN BED when you insert the suppository, and that you won't have to get up anytime soon after.

This is a great product if you have that yeast infection you can never get rid of.It comes in 7 gel capsules.1 capsule is enough for 2 or 3 insertions. If you use a whole one you are really just wasting it so half it in 2 or 3.That way it will last if you need some more in the future. This product is worth the money.

Worked very well but leaked everywhere in my underwear and my pj bottoms, even with a pantyliner! You need to use these with a full on pad to keep your underwear clean!

This stuff works wonders and I will buy ahead of time for any future issues.
The applicator is tricky. Like other reviewers I found that thing would get the product up there and pull it right back out. Not wanting to use my fingers, I'd insert the applicator as far as I could comfortably and then *squeeze*! when pulling back out. That helped it to stay in place.
Definitely use just before climbing in bed and use a decent pad, when you get up you'll have the ugliest stuff ever leaking out of you.
Tricky and ugly but delivered results that Monistat couldn't.

very messy. u need a maxi pad! it leaks like water.. unfortunately it had not effect on my y.i. in fact it came back about a week later with a vengeance.. i wud not recommend this.. for what i hear we shud stik to the 7 day methods over the counter like gyne lotrimin since the 1 day and 3 day creams donot wurk that great in my opinion. i actually used PLAIN yogurt about a teaspoon internally daily for a few days and rubbed sum around vulvar area with a panty liner and it wurked..3 to 4 days... try it. it wurkd in my opinion..eats lots of probiotic yogurt.

I almost forgot I had a box on hand of yeast away, and I have a nasty yeast infection from taking some strong antibiotics. I was trying some other remedies at first, and almost bought some OTC meds (sent good ol' hubby to the store to get me something ;-) ) but then I remembered I had this product. Made the burning stop almost instantly. I used it before bedtime, I just took it easy and laid on the couch as much as I could since I was so miserable. It is messy.

I'm ordering another box so I always have one on hand. Luckily, I don't get the yeasties very often. I'm more prone to bac vagts, interesting to read someone mention this may help with that too.
