I tried this product to rid my indoor plants of a bad fungus gnat outbreak. After about a week from the first application, I have seen a huge decrease in the pests.

It is an easy to use product and highly effective.

The only thing I don't like about Bonide is that it's a chemical product, since I try to garden organically.

Fungus gnats love to bite me in the face and neck, so they were more pesky for me than just a minor nuisance. I applied Bonide to the topsoil of each of my houseplants, worked it in to about an inch and watered the plants, as directed. Two days following application, I noticed an absence of visible gnats and found some dead around my houseplants. A week later, to my dismay, I observed a few larvae on the topsoil. I also observed a few gnats after a few days, which are the residual hatching from the soil. I purchased Seabright Sticky Aphid Whitefly Traps, cut to size and placed a one-inch strip on each houseplant. These were effective in luring existing gnats so they don't lay additional eggs in the soil. I recommend using the two products together. Overall, I am very pleased with the Bonide product, as it has begun the process of elimination of these pesky critters in my home and did not harm my houseplants. If I see any more larvae, I am going to retreat the soil after a month to ensure they're eliminated.

I love using this product because you use it once and it lasts up to two months before it needs reapplied.

This product did exactly what I was looking for. My potted fern had bugs crawling and flying around it, and after using this product, the bugs are totally gone. As a bonus, my fern is growing better than ever...more sprouts than before!

Just sprinkle into the soil, stir it in and lightly water. Plant absorbs it through its roots so soil and plant control insects. Great systemic product that did not harm even my tender tropicals! Nothing drips from leaves and odor-free once its watered and absorbed.
