I occasionally suffer from bouts of vertigo, which are quite debilitating. After discussing with my doctor (who said it was not due to a more serious issue), I was left with no effective treatment. A pharmacist told me about Bonine--it contains the same ingredients as a prescription anti-vert medication. I take it at the first sign of an attack and it works every time. Of course, it is also great for "normal" motion sickness, but note that I find it makes me sleepy.

Start taking the tablets two days before boarding the ship and then once a day during the cruise. We ran into a nor'easter with 12-14 ft swells and had nary a queasy moment.

I experience extreme motion sickness and I am unable to enjoy the rides when my family goes to water parts or theme parks but then a friend recommended this product. Bonine is extremely effective. It tastes great and works quickly. A definite "must" for any cruise or even anytime you may experience motion sickness.

I took these along on our sailing trip in Italy. One of my girlfriends became extremely seasick on our first day sailing (it was a 5-hour sail that day). I gave her one of these, while we were under sail, and she was feeling completely fine in about an hour. She remarked she couldn't believe how well it worked! She was thinking she was so sick she would have to get off the boat and forego the rest of the week sailing. I have taken this also. I usually don't get seasick, but occasionally when I have to go down below in the cabin while we are under sail and make lunch, etc. I can get a bit queasy. I take one of these 30 mins before I know I have to go down and make lunch and I NEVER get sick. These are a miracle for anyone who may get motion sick!

I take one every night before dinner on a cruise -- just in case. Prevents discomfort. No drowsiness like Dramamine, and dosage lasts all night and day unlike cheap imitations. Would not go on a cruise without it--this is the best brand out there.

My husband and I recently returned from a cruise. We hit some rough seas. I took one before I went to bed, then one every morning after that and never had another motion sickness episode the rest of the cruise. I plan to take this on every cruise and take it every evening and morning. It really works and did not cause even a hint of drowsiness!

I am the motion sickness queen of the world! And most motion sickness meds give me side effects... drowsy and hung over feeling.

Bonine not only works, but gives me no side effects. Best to take it an hour before it is needed though.
