I don't know if this is true for all but for me My acne erupts after I drink soda for a while and then drink water it's like my bodies reaction to the toxins in sodas, i think it is also when I drink tea as well. When ever I have gone on fasts in the past, where I only drink water no sodas no sweets just fruits and veggies. My skin will break out from all of the toxins in the first maybe week and then after that my skin looks like butter, seriously smooth and amazing. So I just have to control my eating habits and drinking urges but this really helps to minimize the damage I cause to my skin by eating or drinking unhealthy-hopes this helps.

I've been on this "bumpy" road for a while, trying everything under the sun even remotely referencing treatment of acne. I have extremely sensitive, photosensitive, oily, cystic acne prone skin - even still in my 30's. P.s. you don't just grow out of having bad skin, at least not for most of us. It's the worst combination to have. Yet I refuse to take "oral medications" because of the risky side effects. I have to use a combination of prescribed topical BP & SA in high % in order to get any relief. My washes & masks tend to stay on the gentle side, non-medicated side. However, I felt it best to find a gentle scrub that would "assist" in clearing up the mess of my jawline. No, this product alone will not clear up your acne (not enough punch in the product), but it will help. I like to use it a few nights a week, lightly working it over the worst parts of my face. Immediately, I noticed improvement. I don't feel dried out after using it. I'm able to apply my Rxs & a light oil free lotion after & get "improved" results with it. I wouldn't use it everyday, only because I am sensitive & don't want to scrub every night. If nothing else it has done wonders for my stubborn blackheads.

I purchased this toward the end of 2010, since it was FSA approved. I cannot believe this is meant for acne. It left my face greasy feeling so I tried it as a mask for added moisture during winter--still greasy feeling. I love certain Boots products. This is NOT one of them. I would skip this one!!

This stuff works great! Going through Menopause which is wreaking havok on my skin, and nothing before this has helped me. No-one tells you that memopause is like going through puberty in reverse, and that you'd end up having breakouts like you did when you were a teen (which I was lucky and never did, so this is really irrating to me). Luckily I found Boots Expert Anti Blemish 2 in 1 Facial Scrub and Mask! I use all the Anti Blemish line for the full effect. I saw results almost immediately. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a blemish problem, but especially to those going through menopause. Bad enough we have to deal with that, but blemishes too? C'mon.
