OMG this product is like super amazing. I have an extremely bad oil problem with my face. I will wash my fash, put toner on then moisturizer, all "oil-free" and a half hour later my face will look like chrome. It's gross. Anywho I was watching a beauty youtube video and the lady was using the product so I bought it. Its simply amazing. I shake the bottle, squeeze about 4 or 5 drops into my palm and take my index and middle finger and just spread it all over my forehead, chin and nose and wherever else and litterally all day will not have oil on my face at all. I have small acne on my cheecks and chin most of the time and I wear foundation to hide the acne, and people say you should wear foundation if you have acne, well..I do but anywho,the foundation used to make my skin like 5x more oily than just without makeup but now its like I litterally can wear foundation for a good 8-10 hours without my face getting oily because of this product! BUY IT!
p.s. don't use with a cotton pad or cotton ball, it will leave the fibers of the cotton on your face!

I thought it was watery and noticed no difference from before and after application. Maybe I will try using over make-up.

It is so funny how these things work for some people and not for others. I have spent SO MUCH money trying to mattify my T-zone and this is it, for me! Trust me, I have tried more expensive ones that have rave reviews, but this has been the best. I am 46 with a very oily T-zone, so if you are similar, give it a try.

At first I was a little skeptical using this product, I was worried that it would not work and that it would break me out, but for such a cheap price I figured what the heck, i'll try it. You are instructed to first shake the product then apply one drop to your fingertip and then to your face. (I find it easier to use a cotton ball instead of your fingers) I immediately noticed that my face was MUCH less oily, and my skin is usually EXTREMELY oily. This is great to use over top of your makeup when you get that mid-day shine. It immediately zaps the shine and leaves your face looking like you just applied your makeup.

The only thing I noticed about this product is that if you use too much it will leave a slightly white residue on your face, but that can be easily removed with the swipe of a finger. Also, I usually use more than the recommended one drop. I love this product and cannot live without it now, I would recommend it to anyone!

Boots has been the first product that has really worked for my skin. I'm almost 40, have had acne my whole life and combination dry and oily skin. These products not only don't break me out, but they also get rid of the flaky dryness. Very pleased with both this product and Boots Expert Anti-Blemish Night Moisturizer.
Disclaimer- perhaps this only works on older skin. My skin does not throw off oil now the way it used to and nothing worked for that except constant blotting. Carry cheap toilet paper with you, it works the best.

I live in the South, and humidity = lots of shine! I bought this in hopes of controlling that issue and applied the watery substance to my T-zone. What happened? Not only did it not control the shine, but I ended up with a horrendous breakout in my T-Zone instead! Little bumps that look almost like a rash. It's horrible stuff! It may be intriguing because of the cost, but it's not worth it considering the amount of makeup you'll have to use covering up your new breakout. I was very disappointed, mainly because I love Boots products! I use their makeup and moisturizer, but this instant matte junk is awful.

This product does not take away any shine. There are much better products out there. I am glad I did not spend very much on this or else I would feel like I wasted money. Don't try this product.

Okay i have really really oily skin im a young guy age 23 and i bought this item becuz i heard a review on it on youtube...so the girl just lied about everything she says it does first day i got it i was really happy shake the bottle which i did first then i applyed it i was so upset it felt like water just running down my tzone it didnt keep me matte ,,,i was still super oily and i still was shiney even more after i used this product for the guys and asian people with oily skin DO NOT BUY A WASTE OF MONEY AND YOU MIGHT SAY HEY ITS CHEAP 3 DOLLARS OR SO TRUST ME ITS A WASTE........SERIOUSSSSSSS I THREW IT AWAY AFTER I GAVE IT JUST A DAY.......ITS H2O WITH A LIGHT SCENT THATS IT A WASTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I do think it helps with shine control but I did not like the watery consistency or the slightly sticky feeling it leaves on my face. The expert shine control lotion is a much much better choice. It provides light shine control without the sticky feeling.
