I purchased this to replace my LaRoche-Posay Unifiance redness correcting concealer, which is a smooth, matte, pale green base ; but very hard to find in the US. In comparison, Boots No7 is quite disappointing. Even applied over moisturiser, it gave uneven coverage : too thin on my red cheeks, nose and chin ; and too heavy on my normal cheekbones, jawline and forehead. The green pigment is also too dark and does not blend in well. The product's texture is too greasy and does not behave like a true base.

I have been using this product for years but have always had to rely on anyone traveling to the UK to bring it back for me...
I am thrilled to say the least that it is available online! I have a tendency to get red on my chest and neck due to too much sun exposure during my teens and twenties.
This product really does the trick and tones down my rosy complexion. Other products available in the US just can't compare.

I wish I didn't love this product so much because it's not cruelty free. That is the only con. I am addicted to this green stuff. It evens out my skin tone considerably. Of course it doesn't magically make my skin perfect. I have a pink hue to my skin and some sun damage. This product evens me out better than anything else I've tried. It's not heavy. I wear it over moisturizer every day. Love it.

I use this product after I apply moisturizer, but have found it applies unevenly. It seems to work for red areas (borderlining on rosacea), but ineffectual for redness from acne, so I end up using a green corrective concealing stick for it. Additionally, it does nothing to smooth my skin and lessen the appearance of pores after applying makeup.

Bottom line: Probably will work well for rosacea, other than that, I'd go with something else.

I have used some expensive products with less satisfactory results than this well-priced one. I have a fair complexion and blush very easily along with rosacea symptoms. I put this product on underneath my foundation and it does a great job of toning down the red and hiding blemishes. Highly recommend!
