I should have read the ingredients before I bought this mask. I was impressed by the good review on the product. But I was wrong. The ingredients matter more than the review in my opinion. This mask is very greasy. Actually, when you read the ingredients, the major part is petrolatum and mineral oil. How come the oil can increase the moisture on the skin? If you are looking for a mask for moisture but you have oil or combination skin, don't try this one.

As I've gotten older, the skin on my face and neck have gotten more sensitive. I don't know why this is, but I do my best to make sure that the products I buy are hypoallergenic or made specifically for sensitive skin. I also live in the driest city in the U.S. and have had dry skin for many years. Due to the need for sensitive-skin formulas I haven't had much luck finding a facial moisturizer or mask that do a good job, but after reading the reviews for Boots No 7, I purchased it.

I've used it twice, and both times it's left my face and neck very red and itchy after I've wiped it off. I've also tried applying just a thin layer to leave on at night, but had to get up and wash it off because it began to itch. After removing it, both after the thick application and the thin leave-on application, my skin was anything but smooth and hydrated. I wouldn't normally be so upset about it except that this was a pretty pricey product and ended up not doing what I needed it to.

Wow. I love this product line. I have had extremely dry skin my entire life and living in a dry climate has not helped. But this product is like heaven on my skin. I put it on a clean face before I jump in the shower and then after my shower right before I put on my make up I use a wash cloth to gently wipe it off and my skin is so soft and my make-up goes on so smooth. I have also slept with it over night and I swear I wake up with skin that is 10 years younger.

THIS PRODUCT DID EVERYTHING THAT IT SAID IT WOULD DO AND MORE. I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH, I BEGAN USING IT NIGHTLY AND EVERY MORNING MY SKIN LOOKED CLEAN, LIGHT, HEALTHY MOIST AND MISTY. IT LOOKED AS THOUGH IT HAD HAD A DRINK.
AS THE PRICE IS VERY GOOD, I USE IT ON MY NECK AND CHEST.

Nearing the age of 50 and after reading the positive reviews I just had to try this product. I am pleased with the immediate results of soft, smooth skin.

Great mask to use to give your face a luxurious treat...I think it would be too intense for daily use. Great for use during those times when you may get too much sun or the winter dryness comes along. I have combination skin and think it would work really well for dry as well...may be too heavy for oily or very acne prone skin.

This is the best mask. I use to use Estee Lauder's moisture mask, and this one has that one beat! (For a lot less too). The texture is a light mousse and goes on smoothly, doesn't break my skin out, nor make my skin greasy. I will definitely buy this again......I hope they keep this product in stock for a long time to come. I feel you will like this too

The first time I used this mask it felt fabulous. I have combination skin and this mask makes my skin more balanced. It doesn't leave a greasy feel and your skin drinks this up! The feel is like creamy mousse on your skin. I look forward to put this mask on. I use it twice a week, or before I go out on a special occasion. Can't say enough good stuff for this product.....you will love it too.

On the other side of half a century, I find myself battling with incredibly dry skin. When I was younger I had very oily skin and am repelled by anything that feels greasy on my skin. Saw this recommended in a magazine in my Dr.'s office. Directions to use as a masque also include a note that you can use a thin layer and leave it on all night. I had my doubts, I have rosacea and half expected to wake up with a flare. Instead, I woke up with baby soft, glowing skin. Light on my skin with a pleasant smell, it's easy to remember to treat myself once a week. The price is a bargain considering the results and 3.3 oz will last a long time.
