I DO USE A LIGHT PRIMER BEFORE I PUT FOUNDATION ON. BUT THIS GOES ON SMOOTHLY AND LASTS THE WHOLE DAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOUNDATION. I HAVE TRIED MANY FOR BEING OVER 50 AND THIS IS THE WINNER.
