I looked in my local drugstores and there were lots of hand lotions, but none with SPF. Yes, I could find regular lotion but I wanted something a bit more moisturizing. After a bit of online research, I finally discovered this and was thrilled... nice smell, very moisturizing but not greasy. And the big plus--it fits in my purse! A little flowery. Not a heavy scent, but definitely noticable, and it lingers for many hours after applying. It also does not soak in as well and as quickly as I would like. The reviews were mixed but I decided to take a chance anway. This is going right back to the store. Guess I'll stick with rubbing my oil-free SPF face moisturizer on my hands. It's not moisturizing enough to smooth out the fine lines or make my cuticles look nice but it will have to suffice for now. I am a 60-year-old woman and HAD nail ridges - that are just about gone after 2 weeks of use. Yes, it's a little greasy at first. But I just rub the tops of both hands together(I never put cream on the palms) and then rub it into my nails and it absorbs after a few minutes. My hands look so much younger than they used to--removed sun spots from the back of my hands, reduced lines--and moisturized. Not as long lasting moisturizer as some lotions--but this is great to use 1-2 times a day for the sunscreen and brightening/skin balancing uses, then I use other lotions at other times of the day if I need extra moisture.
