I saw a segment about this product on TV and although I had seen Boots products in [@] I did not believe that [@]/drugstore products actually worked. Believe me I have tried them all expensive brands, cheap you name it. Especially in the serum department I miserably failed over and over again. So let me describe to you my skin problems. Big pores, fine lines, no 11 between my eyebrows, blotches, not so funny laughlines that I was able to get rid of with Clinique Anti-Gravity (has been d/c however). Dull and dry looking skin. THEN after using this serum in conjuction with the lifting and firming cream this was the result: Softer looker skin, fine lines removed, no more laughlines, forehead furrow is gone, smaller pores, brighter skin and this all in 2 weeks. It literally took 10 years of my face. It is such a craze in Europe and for a reason. I also use the Line filler where it is needed. Amazing results. I higly recommend this to any 40-ish woman like me who's face decided to explode like a Volcano and made you look 60 for no reason. Two downsides however, first this tube is small and a pea size amount does not cut it unless your head is the size of a pea, secondly Boots should announce the burning effect you might feel in the beginning because of the retinyl palmitate. But don't worry that will go away, just cut back on it and then continue again. Why oh why is Boots not sold all over the States? Boots can truly compete with high end department store products and come out a winner and that for half or less the price? I am hooked for life on Boots.

This is a nice product and it feels great but it brought back acne on my face. I thought that my skin was just adjusting to the product but I've been using it for over a month now and I'm still breaking out on my chin.

If you have dry skin and no acne problems, this is a good product but if you have problem or oily skin, you may need to be careful with this. I don't think it's non-comedogenic.

I am a woman in mt late 50's and I have tried a lot of anti-aging products. Although they all kept skin moisturized, I never really noticed any visible difference in the lines and wrinkles. This product is completely different! It applies easily and makes your skin feel wonderful. Since menopause, my face has become prone to breakouts, but I have had no problems with the Protect and Perfect. I have been using it for about three weeks, and I can actually see a difference! Some of the anti-aging products available today are ridiculously expensive, and are probably not in the average woman's price range. Boots products are both effective and very reasonably priced!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am in love with Boots. What great products that do what they claim for a reasonalbe price (well, resonably comperable....I think everything is too pricey these days).

My adrenal glands were removed 2 years ago and my skin has been gradually getting worse and wors. It was getting dull, break outs, dark spots that nothing would touch, texture was just blah. I needed an intervention quick and nothing I had tried work. I decided on Boots products for the price and the reviews....and boy was I glad.
I received my order Monday night and Tuesday morning my skin felt incredibly soft. Now, Friday morning, my skin is brighter, clearer, unbelievably soft, and even my nonobservant husband can tell the difference. I got this along with the Boots Botanics brightening toner (love it!) along with their microdermabraision stuff and it is incredible the differnce in such a short time.

Thank you Boots!

Get the Intense Beauty version I have not tried the other. My coworkers who have between the brow and other lines too say the notice my changes. It obviously is not botox or line filler. But it works like nothing else has. I bought it again.

Tried many within this price range, always come back to Boots serum. Use in am/pm for best results of smoother skin, seems to all but diminish the skin texture of early years of sun tanning :(
Not the best for sun spot removable. Still on the hunt for that! Apply Boots, moisterize, then foundation in the a.m. Only draw back - is the size of the bottle. Even tho I buy on "sale" I'd like a bigger bottle.

Service/delivery is good.
An FYI I didn't know ahead of time; back orders get charged shipping even though your order was orginally free - this included my "free item". Can't win.

I alternate the Boots #7 beauty serum with another retinyl product and wear it at night under a firming cream. I have dry, sensitive skin. I have not had any irritation from this product, and people have noticed. A husband of one of my patients was talking about his amphicar, and said that he bought it way before my time in 1965. Well, I was born in 1955! When I came clean, he practically fell over in his chair! I don't know if its the combination of the products, or this one alone, but I'm not messing with success!

Rare to find something for DEEP wrinkles. After 30 days already see improvement in forehead lines. I only tried the INTENSE version of this-there is a similar product without that word in its name. Top rated by Good Housekeeping.
