I'm Asian mixed with other stuff and it's hard finding a foundation that matches well. This is like my skin. Perfect color match and perfect full coverage yet light enough so it feels like I'm wearing nothing. Also has SPF. Covers my acne spots and makes me feel reall ypretty

I'm in my 30s and prefer to wear something heavier than a truly "sheer" makeup, but not a full coverage. And I don't want to have to reapply during the day. This foundation completely fits the bill. The bottle has a pump top, which I really like, and the texture is very close to a tinted moisturizer, although it doesn't mositurize. It's not runny like liquids can be. I use oil blotting sheets to freshen up my oily zones during the day, but otherwise don't need to touch up my makeup at all at work when I use this product. I have fair skin with yellow undertones (the word "ivory" usually appears in the names of colors that work for me) and this color ("New Ivory") is an exact match.

This is a lot cheaper than department store foundations and stays matte longer than some of them. I blend it on with a makeup sponge. I have a light complexion so I wear New Ivory but I think there is one shade lighter than this if you're really fair. It's a neutral color with slight yellow undertones, similar to a color that Bobbi Brown would have in one of her foundations. Stays on well, stays matte, doesn't feel cakey, doesn't break me out, doesn't exaggerate fine lines. And less than 20 bucks. Great deal in my opinion.

This is a terrific find. A truly matte finish foundation with SPF 15 that doesn't break me out and doesn't break my piggy bank, either. New Ivory is a very neutral light beige that blends easily. For color reference, here are some of the foundations I wear in other lines: Laura Mercier Warm Ivory in her Oil Free Formula, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in Sand, and in Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation I wear a 3. This is just to help you out if you are trying to choose shades. If this color is too dark, Boots makes a lighter Ivory (New Ivory is darker) that might work better for truly porcelain skin.

I wish I could tell by the color guide which color is lightest....the names dont help me at all...I am fair, not very fair but this is way to yellow and dark.

It glides on and covers blemishes. No stinging, no streaks. I used No.7 translucent powder over the top and it stays put all day.
