Never tried Boots liquid eyeliner (use to use their products when I was in London many years ago and loved them). I was pleasantly surprised. The brush is nice and the liner goes on smoothly. I tried the Chainmail which I wasn't sure I would like, but it is a slightly metallic gray, more subtle than black, which I prefer sometimes. As far as it removing, I've had no problem removing the liner with my usual waterproof liquid makeup remover.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Have used Boots eyeliner for several years in brown and black & always pleased (nice thin brush--stays on nicely) but this time ordered chainmail color thinking it would be a charcoal...used my usual eye makeup remover pads and got nothing off---kept trying--it was like trying to remove paint. Finally used some heavy duty oil based eye makeup remover & barely got it off. Threw the new chainmail in the trash. So.. will order a black & see if it is impossible to remove as well & they've changed the formula or if I just got a bad batch of chainmail color---
Apply after eye shadow and before mascara. For greater control hold the wand close to the brush and rest your little finger against your cheek to steady your hand. Use one slow sweep and allow to dry. A thin line will accentuate the eye, a thicker line will make the eyes look more dramatic.
