I'm flying for first time with infant and so far this pillow is working out great. When opened up, its Not as big as my usual pillow at home, but it's just big enough for me to nurse with on the plane and for baby to sleep on, on my lap in plane (my son is a small 7 month-old). Yet it's small enough to stuff into my carry-on. You can also carry it over your shoulder like another purse, if theres no room in your bag for it but you have room for another strap over your shoulder. So much easier to travel with than my usual pilllow, which I,ve done road trips with. I also like that it's a travel pillow that I don't have to spend time blowing up and then deflating. I just unzip it when I need it, and then zip it up when it's time to go!
