Finally a product that works according to claims! Applications of once or twice daily, according to weather and dryness, quickly heals nasal cracks and irritations associated with dry, cold winter conditions. Nasal membranes are restored to "normal" conditions within a day or two. Pleasant smell and only a small amount is needed. Better than any product we've tried.

This product works very well to help open blocked sinuses. It lubricates tender nostrils & sinuses and provides pain relief. It is especially helpful in the winter when faced with dry heat from furnaces.

During the winter, my nasal passages dry up and get scaly inside. A little dab of borelum in there once a day prevents that, which in turn stops itching and sneezing. Best stuff I found for this problem.

Although it was just a minor problem, Boroleum has actually improved the quality of my life. The inside of my nose used to get dry and sore frequently, sometimes, enough to keep me up at night. I put some Boroleum in at night and it doesn't happen anymore. My nose also heals faster when it does get sore. I also use it before travelling on a plane, which can dry out the nose, and before I swim, when water can rush up the nose. It protects against some of the discomforts in both cases.

I also think, although I don't have the means to really know for sure, that it helps to protect against airborne illnesses. Perhaps by having a better protected nose, I am not as susceptible. I say this because I have had very few colds in the last 3 or 4 years, since I started using it. One never knows whether that was the cause, but logically it makes sense to me, at least.

The only downside is the taste, on the -relatively rare - occasions that it seeps into the back of my throat.

I very highly recommend it.

Was introduced to Boroleum about 30 years ago, and use it every night through the winter as a "moisturizer" for the inside of my nose as the dry air causes my nose to get really dry and often bleed in the winter. Same goes for whenever I am flying. I also use it when I have a cold to heal sores around the nose after constantly blowing it. It works wonders in all three scenarios!
