Cleaning System Polxamine 1107: Removes dirt and deposits from your lenses without a separate daily cleaner Protein Removal System Hydroxyalkyphosphonate: Removes protein deposits daily from your lenses Disinfecting System Chlorhexidine Gluconate: Dual disinfection system Polyaminopropyl Biguanide: Destroys Micro-Organisms Wetting and Cushioning System Glucam-20: Retains moisture for optimal lens wearing comfort Hydroxypropylmethyl Cellulose: Provides extra thickness for cushioning and handling
Warnings
Contraindications: Do not use this solution if you are allergic to any ingredient in this product. Not for use with soft (Hydrophilic) Contact Lenses.
Usage: Discard solution ninety (90) days after opening.
Store this solution at room temperature. Avoid freezing. Refer to expiration date on bottom of carton prior to purchase.

I use it every day, but it says it's a protein remover. However, i don't think it removes all the proteins and it doesn't keep my lenses moist all day.

I use this daily, it's the only product I need most of the time. I have a problem with protein deposits building up on my gas permeable lenses & this keeps them clear of that. I only need use the stronger Boston cleaner if my eyes have teared up from something getting into my eye, or if I had been crying. Otherwise, it's all I need for cleaning, soaking & wetting. I have used every other product on the market for this issue & Simplus works best!

I've used this product for a week, following the instructions. The instructions on the bottle, in order: soak for minimum 4 hours, rub, rinse. Yes, different than the traditional cleaning method. Following these instructions I ended up with a deposit on my contact within one week. Repeatedly tried to rub out with Simplus, but didn't come out until I used the red-tipped version cleaner. In future, I'm going to try rubbing my lenses, then soaking. (Did they stop making old-style plain soaking solution?) Also, looks like the red-tip version is still a far superior cleaner, as it took my deposit right out versus this product. Finally, rinse for 5 seconds?!? Seriously, how long would a bottle even last? What a rip off! BTW I'm a long-time Boston product fan.

the name is accurate - its a simple multipurpose product that works well on daily basis to clean and sanitize rigid gas perm lenses and keep them in good shape in between periodically using the deposit remover also by Boston. It's not cheap, but I've found it works best.

Remember to follow directions exactly. Clean lenses by rubbing gently and then soak, but don't forget to clean with concentrated solution as well, a few times per week. Great for gas permeable lenses, too!
