I've used it for years and couldn't live without it. The new packaging lid design is awful, but the product itself is still the best. If you've been using other brands, try this for a month or two - your eyes will feel great. I wear my gas permeable lenses every day for at least 15 hours a day - heavy computer use, lots of reading. Boston makes them moist and comfortable. I had to have muhc shorter days of lens wear with other brands. Also, my contacts usually last about four years. Seriously, I get that much use and comfort from them. VS Most Liked Negative Review Beware! Formula has changed! I tried the Boston Advance when it first came out many years ago and had an allergic reaction to it. The ophthalmologist said I was allergic to the preservative in it. I can use the original formula with no problem whatsoever. I bought the new "improved" formula last week without even noticing because the box was identical to the original formula box. It wasn't until the next morning when my contacts kept fogging up and causing my eyes to produce mucus that I realized that the box said "improved" instead of "original". I contacted B&L and they said they were streamlining their product selection and that I shouldn't have had a problem with the new solution. They claim the additional additive in it should make my contacts feel better! I need to find out what the added ingredient is so I can avoid it. After more than 40 years of using B&L I now have to find a new solution. Can't believe it. Comments about Boston Improved Formula Conditioning Solution 3.5oz, 3.5 fl oz: The original formula worked great, since they change it to be "improved" it has been a poor-fair product for me. I did call Bausch and Lomb to complain to customer service and tell them their product irritated my eyes and that I wanted to know where I could purchase the "original formula". But they have stopped manufacturing the "original formula" and too bad so sad. Darn. Best Uses Comments about Boston Improved Formula Conditioning Solution 3.5oz, 3.5 fl oz: I'm one of many people who liked the original formula but react to the improved formula. With the improved formula, my eyes build up a lot of mucus and the cushioning doesn't last very long. How I would like the original formula back! Best Uses Comments about Boston Improved Formula Conditioning Solution 3.5oz, 3.5 fl oz: I began using Boston Original Formula Conditioning Solution when a similar product became unavailable. While not quite as good as the product I was using, it was acceptable as to lasting comfort. Since I began using the "improved" formula after the original formula solution apparently was removed from the market, my eyes become dry and the lenses feel scratchy after about two hours. Another problem is that the directions state to discard the solution 30 days after the container is opened. That means that most of the solution should be discarded and thus wasted. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (5 of 5 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses
Comments about Boston Improved Formula Conditioning Solution 3.5oz, 3.5 fl oz: Boston touts itself as the premier rigid gas permeable contact lens solution maker, constantly upgrading and "improving" their wetting solutions. Frankly, I'm guessing that they replaced one inert ingredient from the mix in favor of another, less expensive, ingredient, calling it new and improved and charging more for it. This is not my go to brand, that one went off the market. I basically use whatever is the best price, because water, which I've used in a pinch, isn't very comfortable.
