Our 2-year-old son has very dry skin and has since he was an infant. We have tried numerous lotions and techniques and nothing has ever really helped him. When his baby brother was born two months ago, our pediatrican gave us a few samples of the Baby Butt Paste and the Baby Butt Dry Skin Ointment. We decided to try this ointment on our 2-year-old and literally after one application his dry skin was 98% gone! We were simply amazed! We haven't been able to find this ointment in any stores in this area and it is a shame. The only down fall of this ointment is that it is the consistency of vaseline, but it works. In the end, we love this product because it does such a fantastic job!

I saw a difference in my 8 months old's skin within 24 hours. He has moderate eczema breakouts from head to foot. I have used other Boudreaux's products in the past and have been pleased with the results. This product more than met my expectations.

A little oily but only takes a couple of applications to soften any rough patches of skin. It works great!

I was using Burt's Bees products on my newborn's skin and she developed a rash everywhere I put it on her. I used Burt's Bees on my older daughter when she was a baby so I assumed the same for this one. i had a sample of the boudreaux's ointment, and it cleared everything up...I even use the baby wash and it is fantastic!!!! It is super oily and greasy, but for wintertime, she needs it!!! Especially around her cheek and mouth areas...there could be a lot of chaffing going on there. Her skin is healthy and she seems "comfortable in her own skin"!!!!

Less irritating than some of the petroleum jelly types of products. Skin needs to be a little damp, or it just sits on top. But overall, it's a good product

Do Not Buy If: you think that this is going to be like the Butt Paste. I thought that this was going to be like the butt paste, and it is more like vaseline. This is one Bourdreaux product that I wouldn't buy again. It would be cheaper to buy a store brand vaseline and get the same results.

My daughter has dry itchy red spots on her legs and belly. We have tried many, many product and this one works the best! We apply at least once a day and her skin issues are now under control. She has no more redness and I never she her scratching!When I first used this product I wasn't sure how to apply it. Now I squeeze a good amount in to my hands and rub them together rapidly until warm and melted. Then rub into skin. This product is heavy and does take a while to absorb, but that's why it is such a great protectant! I don't know what we would do without it!
