When I pulled it off, I had a huge welt, which turned into a huge bedsore due to the rubbing of my underwear leg. Being allergic to latext and adhesives, and the location of the wound, all made it difficult for this to heal. My husband bought home all sorts of zinc oxide products, as well as the butt paste, which I thought was a joke on his part, although I was not laughing at all. I tried all other zinc products with gauze first and they helped a bit, but would stick to the wound, so when I had to change the dressing they would reopen the wound each time. I finally gave in and used the butt paste. It was soothing, pleasant smelling and cooled the area. I finally felt the area was getting better. It still has a ways to go, but this time I asked my husband to bring home the 16 oz jar as recommended by one reviewer since this is the only product that has helped the tender area. As long as I don't sit or move around too much and keep the butt place on the wound, I think this will be healed completely in another week. If I was forced to find one thing wrong with it, I'd have to say the color could be a bit lighter, but even that is something that you can live with when it works so well. The product prevented the diaper rash from getting any worse, but it did not treat the rash. In the end, we had to turn to a product with a higher content of zinc oxide. This probably would be great if she hadn't already developed the rash. REVIEWS Reviewed by 71 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about Boudreaux's Butt Paste, Orignal Diaper Rash Ointment Jar, 16 oz: I have used Butt Paste for years with good results but it was often hard to squeeze out of the tube. The tub is much easier to use. Recently I had an infant with diaper a rash that was difficult to clear up, a nurse suggested I mix Butt paste and Desiting together and it worked! Pros

Comments about Boudreaux's Butt Paste, Orignal Diaper Rash Ointment Jar, 16 oz: Product is being used on a hospice patient. It was recommended by a nurse and aide. It works well in that it spreads easily and is thick enough or thin enough per the area to be covered and the layering done. Pros

Comments about Boudreaux's Butt Paste, Orignal Diaper Rash Ointment Jar, 16 oz: I am an adult that needs diapers. They are changed often, especially when I exercise and go out a lot. The paste is primarily for the chaffing. (No matter what anyone says diapers rub with movement) I got my daughter in law a tub for my four grandchildren. I was a little upset when they took the Boric Acid out, but after researching the reason I am quite pleased. It works just as well, just not as fast. Great product.
