After about 4 dryer loads I heard thumping in my dryer and saw that the dryer bar had become unstuck from the inside of my dryer. I tried reattaching it and it just slipped right off again, leaving a glue mark where the attachment was. I wish I could figure out a way to still use it somehow, because when it was attached it worked well and the smell was nice! After only a month and a half it came loose and broke into a million messy pieces. Now I know why no one stocks the refills. I will get another one because I hate keeping up with dryer sheets but I wouldn't bet on the 4 month one! My Bounce bar remained adhered even though I was impatient and dried a load of laundry right after installing the bar, so no problems there. The only complaint I have is when I dry a load that contains slinky or poly-blend fabrics, I end up with a ton of static. I have to add a Bounce sheet when I dry loads with those fabrics. If I am drying jeans, sheets, or other cotton fabrics, the Bounce bar handles static perfectly. The smell is very potent right out of the box and will bother someone with a sensitive nose (like me) but the scent the bar leaves on clothes is much fainter, thankfully! I haven't noticed the bar leaving any white marks like the other reviewers have said....I'll have to keep an eye out for that! The Bounce Dryer Bar has set me free!!! No more rouge dryer sheets and my clothing still benefits from a Bounce product. The clothes smell wonderful and are completely static free. It works so great I almost forget it is there. The Bounce Dryer Bar won a 2010 Silver Edison Award. It also gets an award from me for consistent performance. While it did make my clothes smell good, I had an allergic reaction to it. I am always trying the newest things when it comes to the laundry. I am not sensitive to other products I have tried in the past including liquid fabric softners and dryer sheets.
