Comments about BrainStrong Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA, 60 ea:

This is exactly what i was lookg for: has prenatal and DHA and all without animal gelatin. For vegetarians, halal or kosher eaters, ots hard to find gelatin free.

the gelatin used here is from fish so its fine :)

Comments about BrainStrong Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA, 60 ea:

I really liked these vitamins and the DHA was easy on my stomach. However, I showed them to my doctor and she said the level of Vitamin A in them is too high and I should stop taking them. They contain 6,000 IUs of Vitamin A and the maximum recommended dose is 5,000 IUs. Most other prenatals have around 4,000 IUs. I am really disappointed I need to stop taking these, as I really liked them otherwise.

Comments about BrainStrong Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA, 60 ea:

I bought this prenatal vitamin after trying several other brands that all made me sick to my stomach or had terrible fishy after tastes. This has neither unfortunate side-effect and I would recommend these for pregnant and nursing women. I have taken them since my first trimester and am now due any day. I plan to continue through nursing.

I take this everyday, it seems to work wonderfully. It is the only one I found that had the highest DHA.

                Misleading

Comments about BrainStrong Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA, 60 ea:

I should have zoomed in on the picture because it was totally misleading saying that this box contained 60 ea and then to state in the ingredients that a serving size was 1 tablet. I assumed this meant that I would have 2 months worth of pills, but no...there are actually only 30 multivitamin tablets in the box. The other 30 are the DHA softgels, so the serving size is really 2 pills, meaning there is only enough for 1 month :(

                BrainStrong Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA

                 – Support a baby's development throughout pregnancy with BrainStrong Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA. It provides 100% of the recommended daily dose of folic acid, plus the vegetable-derived life'sDHA™ source of this important omega-3 fatty acid. Throughout pregnancy and even before conception, this premium daily supplement can help to provide vital compounds to promote good health. It may also be beneficial to both baby and mom while breast feeding.

                Take the Advantage

Healthy babies begin with healthy mothers, and the minerals and vitamins in BrainStrong Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA are formulated to provide support throughout the term of pregnancy through breastfeeding. It also contains a high level of folic acid and DHA. Your doctor may advise you to take a supplement if you are trying to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding. Be sure to ask if this supplement from BrainStrong is appropriate for you.

                New Source for DHA

As an omega-3 fatty acid, the traditional source of DHA has been fish oil. The disadvantages of this source can be a fishy smell and taste accompanying DHA supplements, plus the added risk of carryover pollutants and toxins from the ocean environment. BrainStrong has developed a new premium source called life'sDHA™ produced directly from microalgae. This vegetarian source, grown under tightly controlled manufacturing conditions in FDA-inspected facilities is not only free of pollutants, it is also sustainable.

BrainStrong is owned by i-Health, a division of DSM. The company strives to promote healthy lives through their high quality over the counter health products. All products are backed by strict quality control.
