After a couple weeks, however, the razor started to smell terrible, similar to a what it would smell like if I hadn't washed my face for 2 weeks. Returned to using these and everything is back to a "normal" with a fresh-smelling razor.This, and the fact that the trimmer broke recently, only after a year's use, makes me ponder about whether I'll purchase this Brand of item again. It is expensive for what it is (a cleaning solution with lubricant) but you will find with regular usage you will get better shaves. It does evaporate over time so you might as well use it or loose it.

Comments about Braun Clean & Renew Refill, 3 ea: Note the label on the refill; alcohol, perfume and coloring. You certainly do not need the perfume and coloring, so if you run out of refills, just fill refill with plain rubbing alcohol.
