I only found this to be useful for a quick touch up when I didn't feel like getting my hair clippers out. Otherwise it doesn't even compare to a pair of full sized buzz clippers.
I would never use this on my face. My battery operated trimmer has at least 3 times the power.
This shaver does have a nice design though and feels good in my hand. The length adjuster pieces are great... although they are in MM. I only know what length to shave my head in inches unfortunately.
