Swimming–I use a sulfate-free chlorine removing shampoo that leaves my long hair in a tangled knot with a weird texture, Brazailian masque to the rescue. It quickly returns my mane to sane. It smells great and works quickly. Yes, it is expensive. However, you hair will thank you.

For the first 2 Brazilian Blowouts, I used my own shampoos and conditioners. For the second two, I used the BB brand. There was no differnce in maintaining the treatment. Also, the Masque was way too light. The 4th Brazilian Blowout didn't work (evident after the first shampoo). The BB company said it was because they don't authorize non-stylist selling of BB products, and claimed Drugstore.com products were faux. Yeah, right. The Federal Trade Commission should correct the Brazilian Blowout company's practices (instead of just the FDA and OSHA). The day of the re-do, the salon's manager said their "guarantee" is only good if I buy the products at the salon. Nothing like changing the rules after the fact. I objected, and the stylist made good on the re-do. I dropped the credit card dispute.

This product really makes my hair look fuller and shiny. YOu are suppose to leave it on for 1/2 an hour, but sometimes I just leave it on overnight, and wash it out in the morning.

This is a must have if you get the Brazilian Blowout treatment done on your hair! You need to use the right products to keep it as long as you can. It has no sodium of any kind which is what will kill your blowout. It's very healthy to use on your hair, makes it super smooth and soft. Without my Brazilian blowouts- my hair is coarse, and wavy in all the wrong places! This really hydrates and smoothes! These products are a bit pricey- but they do their job!

I had the salon process done and this product just reinforces it beautifully!! Swimming tip - I coat my hair before I go to the pool to prevent damage and rinse it out afterwards... Beautiful results!!

I have very fine hair but lots of it and it tangles like mad. This is the only conditioner I have ever used that literally allows me to run my hands all the way through my hair in the shower without tangles. I recently cut off about 8 inches of hair because the salon washbowl experience was so traumatic it turned my head into a rat's nest that took about 30 minutes to comb out. With this stuff available I am thinking of growing it right back out.
