I wanted to believe these would work even more. Well they don't. One reason being they won't stick on the nose well. I scrub my nose(never had to with old ones), and sill it comes loose one place or another 99% of the time. Worse it woill pop of in the night. Never happened with the old ones. If it does stay on, result are the same as the old ones, yet I'm paying more for these. Another issue is how difficult they are to apply,compared to the old ones. Great concept,but needs work. Best Uses Comments about Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips, 26 ea: Initially, advaned strips work well, if one really gets all oils from skin. As mentioned elsewhere, they peel up during the night and become less effective. Is peeling due to spring strips being too strong or adhesive not being strong enough? Do not know but I think the strips in the Advanced is stronger than the originals. Advertising on TV is misleading since they show an advanced strip which is not clear, rahter appears white. If Breathright company could get the loss of adhesion figured out, this would be a good product. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips, 26 ea: These "Advanced" strips are much too stiff, and since they are also quite large, they pull up on the skin of my cheeks alongside my nose. This is not good for the delicate skin of an older woman! I found that I was very aware of the strip because of its aggressiveness, and this discomfort kept me from drifting off to sleep. I had to get up and replace it with a regular strip. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips, 26 ea: I started using the old Breathe Right strips when I was pregnant and had trouble breathing at night. Now, many years later, I still use them. I find they help open my nasal passages so I don't have to breathe through my mouth at night. For me, the advanced work even better than the original. They stay on better and open the passages wider. This helps me to fall asleep more quickly, and sleep more soundly (no dry mouth or drool from mouth breathing). The only con is the sticky residue which can be hard to remove in the morning.
