Comments about Brita Everyday Water Filter Pitcher, 10 cup, 1 ea:

I use the product to drink water and make ice. I like the tasting of the water. But I don't like that the pitcher is too heavy for me and it takes to long to filter water.

Comments about Brita Everyday Water Filter Pitcher, 10 cup, 1 ea:

This system does take a lengthy amount of time to filter water, and while it's a minor drawback, it's also well worth the wait. The only other noticaeable flaw is also quite marginal, in that occasionally a few carbon flakes will float up from the filter and into the filtration resivoir; neither of these above are particular problems, since any filter takes time to work and the carbon flakes never get loose inside the pitcher itself and rinse away on cleaning. With regard to the filtration time, I generally avoid it by simply refilling the resivoir after every few glasses, rather than after each full pitcher.

Too tall to fit where I typically get water, but I improvise by using the old DuPont pitcher to fill it up.
