I spent a lot of time researching water filters and found that the Brita filters are the only ones that take all of the chemicals out of the water that cause cancer, etc. Most of them just take out sediment, etc. Even the companies that made the other filters came right out and admitted it!! Brita is the only way to go, either pitcher or faucet filters and Drugstore.com is the best place to buy them!!!

The light that tells you it's time to replace filter doesn't always work very long, so I just put a reminder on my computer when to change it. We have old pipes and some lead in our water, so this is a must. I am safe drinking my tap water with this.

great product--I can definitely taste the difference but I rent and my sink has one of those cheap faucets that are short so the filter is a bulky and something gets in the way, but I don't mind. It's def. more convenient than filling up the pitcher. It's a great alternative to buying those evil water bottles.

Works great and the chrome finish matches my kitchen sink. I still use the white plastic ones in the bathroom, though. Be careful not to get bleach on the chrome finish version though. It ruins the finish. Windex is fine, though.

I have been using this product for a little over a month. I previously owned a PUR.

Features that I love on the Brita :
-changing the filter is easy
-filter stays clean
-so far the flow of water has been really fast
-it offers two flow settings when you are using unfiltered water
