I spent a lot of time researching water filters and found that the Brita filters are the only ones that take all of the chemicals out of the water that cause cancer, etc. Most of them just take out sediment, etc. Even the companies that made the other filters came right out and admitted it!! Brita is the only way to go, either pitcher or faucet filters and Drugstore.com is the best place to buy them!!! We have old pipes and some lead in our water, so this is a must. I am safe drinking my tap water with this. Pros

It's def. more convenient than filling up the pitcher. It's a great alternative to buying those evil water bottles. Pros

Be careful not to get bleach on the chrome finish version though. It ruins the finish. Windex is fine, though. Pros
