Comments about Brita Water Filtration System, Bubbles Grand Pitcher, 10 cups, Black, 1 ea:
I've used a Brita pitcher and filters for years and find it so convenient -- not only for drinking water and cooking but I also use filtered water for my house plants. Drugstore.com has frequent sales on the filters so I find it more economical than other filtering systems. Our water definitely tastes better filtered through a Brita pitcher.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
1) Soak new filter. 2) Insert filter into reservoir. 3) Add cold tap water. 4) Replace filter every 40 gallons or 2 months. It is normal for carbon dust to appear in your first 2 pitchers. Discard this water or use it to water plants. See user's guide in packaging for detailed instructions. For best results, store the Brita pitcher in your refrigerator or out of direct sunlight.
