I have used it for about three weeks, almost daily, in the shower. I put a small amount of body wash on it before using. I mainly use it on the back of my arms where I have always had those little bumps that never seem to go away. I can say today, my arms are much smoother. The bumps have disappeared and my skin is amazingly soft to the touch. I use the more abrasive side and I don't have to scrub too hard. It does the job just fine without irritating my skin. With the first few uses the sponge did feel rough, but I did get used to it and it's great!!!! I would not hesitate buying one of these. I will definitely buy again. VS Most Liked Negative Review I would buy this product again...but I apply soap to it and gently wash my face using the blue side to loosen any ingrown hairs, rinse off the soap, apply the shaving cream and the shave is smooth. I enjoy using it because it not only exfoliates your skin but allows you to feel refresh after use. When I use this product with Dove, Oil of Olay or body washes with oil in it, it does not change the texture and feel of the buff puff. But when I've used the loofah with body washes that contain oil it causes the loofah to turn really soft because the oil changes the texurte in them. It's not too harsh on the body but I would not recommend it for your face. Excellent product if your looking for something to exfoliate your body.  Pros

Comments about Buf-Puf Double-Sided Body Sponge, 1 ea: You can't find these in stores any more. Only inferior generic brand versions. They don't even compare to the Buf-Puf brand. I use these every day with enough shower gel for my skin to tolerate depending on the area on my body. For example, I use less gel on my legs to get a rougher scrub and more gel on my chest for a gentler scrub. I always use the white side (the softer side) except when using on my feet. I use it for three reasons. 1. Using this to exfoliate leaves my skin so soft I don't even need body lotion 2. It gets rid of the under arm stickiness from my anti-perspirant. 3. It prepares my skin for sunless lotion tanners either rougher for using for the first time or a bit softer for the subsequent applications. I cannot live without these and am so glad I can find them online at drugstore[@]. I buy 5 at a time to hold me over! I never write reviews, by the way, but I am so obsessed with these and believe everyone should use them. Pros

It's amazingly rough and scratchy so it exfoliates my legs in an excellent way. I wish the sponge had just a touch more give to it (a bit softer) so it would lather up a bit more with soap so it could be a little more useful. Not sure I'll be getting the refills for this or be looking for a new sponge. I waste a lot of soap trying to get a lather... Pros
