I have used it for about three weeks, almost daily, in the shower. I put a small amount of body wash on it before using. I mainly use it on the back of my arms where I have always had those little bumps that never seem to go away. I can say today, my arms are much smoother. The bumps have disappeared and my skin is amazingly soft to the touch. I use the more abrasive side and I don't have to scrub too hard. It does the job just fine without irritating my skin. With the first few uses the sponge did feel rough, but I did get used to it and it's great!!!! I would not hesitate buying one of these. I will definitely buy again. If they could make it a little larger, thicker and maybe add a rope or handle for hanging, they'd have me. But for the price, I'm not sure if I shouldn't just stick with a regular old mesh puff. I've only had it a couple weeks and it is already flattening out and looking shabby. I don't think it will last. If you have long hair, it also will gather up a bunch of stray hair while you use it, and they're impossible to get out. It looks pretty gross laying there in my shower stall. I don't know... Comments about Buf-Puf Double-Sided Body Sponge, 1 ea: Since the early 80's when I was first exposed to this product I have used it. I think that there is no other product out there as great as this one. There is another, similar to this, which is also made by Buf Puf, but it only has the white (soft) side to it. I myself, require the green (hard) side because of its exfoliating power. I get many ingrown hairs on my thighs and this product had helped me control that; plus the softer side is great for exfoliating the face. Unfortunately you can not find this product in any retail stores any longer, thanks Drugstore.com for carrying it for me. Pros

I've been using this almost daily for the past 21+ years...and have given these as gifts to family/friends for almost as long. I do wish the sponges were a bit cheaper so I can replace them more often. Coming from a background with a very strong bath culture, I can't imagine how one can feel clean without using this or something like it. Pros

I have sensitive, very dry, itchy skin and this really works well to alleviate the problem in that hard-to-reach area. I also use it with the oil on the rough, dry skin on my elbows, knees, and buttocks and it keeps these areas smooth and soft as well. Pros
