I have used it for about three weeks, almost daily, in the shower. I put a small amount of body wash on it before using. I mainly use it on the back of my arms where I have always had those little bumps that never seem to go away. I can say today, my arms are much smoother. The bumps have disappeared and my skin is amazingly soft to the touch. I use the more abrasive side and I don't have to scrub too hard. It does the job just fine without irritating my skin. With the first few uses the sponge did feel rough, but I did get used to it and it's great!!!! I would not hesitate buying one of these. I will definitely buy again. VS Most Liked Negative Review I would buy this product again...but I apply soap to it and gently wash my face using the blue side to loosen any ingrown hairs, rinse off the soap, apply the shaving cream and the shave is smooth. Comments about Buf-Puf Double-Sided Body Sponge, 1 ea: I use this product to help slough off dry dead skin! I don't use it daily because I'm African American and I already have dry skin. But I can use the rough side to remove dry skin on my feet, knees & elbows. I use the softer side for the rest of my body. My dermatologist recommended I use this product to help ensure the body lotion is absorbed. Will definitely be buying this item again!! Pros

They still work well, great for exfolliation but they don't seem to be made as durable as in the past. Still by far the best sponge to feel truly clean. The blue side is great for feet and elbows and helps overall for holding up over time. Pros

I have been using this sponge for all of two weeks and already it is flattening/compressing and forming deep fissures/creases. I can live with replacing it the recommended "4 to 6 weeks" - not so sure about every two weeks! The whole point was to find something that was a little nicer environmentally than the ubiquitous huge, non-recyclable, plastic mesh body puff. Time to start looking for another way to exfoliate...maybe it's time to just go back to a good old-fashioned terry cloth washcloth. Pros

I thought that the green side would be good for my whole body but when I use that side I start to break out.
