Really seems to make any type of face wash much more effective for removing makeup and providing gentle exfoliation. I was originally going to buy the "regular" sponge but changed my mind at the last minute and went with "gentle" instead. I'm glad I did because it's the perfect consistency for my oily and sensitive skin. Can't speak for durability yet since I've only used it twice. Pros

The moment I touch my face with it I knew there is no way someone is supposed to clean her face with it. It's even too rough to be used as a bath sponge. I have no use for it and will have to use it to clean the bathroom. Pros
