I normally use 3M Ultrathon but thought I'd try Bullfrog because of the sun protection. Bullfrog was WORTHLESS, within 5 mins. out the door I had 3 bites from deer flies. Unfortunately I bought 2 bottles so I'll use it up for the sun protection and back it up with the 3M product for insect repellent. This only has a slight alcohol scent while spraying, but it dissipates immediately on contact. It helped me repel the fleas that were using me as a food source.

We live in a very humid area and the mosquitos are always very bad. This spray has worked wonderfully while my son was playing outside and while swimming. The mosquito repellent works very well as does the sunblock. He has been in the sun for several hours and no burn and no bites. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has kids, or who just likes to put on one type of lotion for being outside.

Biggest frustration is when the fluid gets low you must keep ther bottle as level as possible in order for the spray to capture some remaining fluid.

Not only does it keep them from burning, but keeps the mosquitos & deer flies off of them as well. We have been using it for 3-4 years. Also is waterproof - stays on all day. Highly recommended for kids.

Bullfrog does a great job for both. It is easy to apply and we came back from camp without being eaten alive by flies, bugs and mosquito's. What more does a one need.

SHE DOES NOT GET BUG BITES NOR DOES SHE GET SUNBURNT. ALSO WE ARE USUALLY OUT FOR 5-6 HOURS AT A TIME AND I DON'T HAVE TO RE-APPLY IT DURING THE DAY, AND MY CHILD IS FAIR SKINNED. IT WILL STING THE EYES THOUGH SO I AM CAREFUL HOW I USE HER FACE, HAVE TO SPRAY IT ON MY HAND FIRST. AS LONG AS THEY MAKE THIS PRODUCT I WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT. GREAT, GREAT PRODUCT!!! :O) Comments about Bull Frog Mosquito Coast, Sunblock with Insect Repellent, SPF 30, 4.7 fl oz: I read about Bullfrog from an experienced backpacker who works hard at reducing bulk and weight, and thought I'd try it for both insect repellant and sunscreen. I had my doubts but it was fantastic. The thin film that is applied actually prevented any sunburn, and the insect repellant was fairly effective against the mosquitos. 100% deet works better, but this was acceptable and I felt better about using it in the backcountry. The only problem was that I had to keep the bottle upright at all times, which was doable with a little extra attention and planning. Pros
