It has a nice cooling sensation when applied and it's like you can feel it hydrating your lips. I had terrible chapped lips last winter (I was in a new climate and my skin was not adapting well at all), and I was using chap stick, which was not cutting it. I found this in a 4 pack for $[$] (it came with a tin of this, a tube of this, the honey kind and another kind, but I don't remember which one) and all of them did a wonderful job at treating my painfully chapped lips. This along with Carmex, are my favorite lip products when I need something hydrating and soothing. It's very hard, which makes it long lasting & smash resistant, but not as moisturizing as softer lip balms. I recommend getting Dr. Bronner's Peppermint lip balm instead of this. Bronner's has organic ingredients, more hydration, and is about the same price as Burt's Bees. The peppermint flavor is milder, but if you have dry lips Bronner's is a more effective balm. Comments about Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, 1 ea: I like this chap stick a lot and have been using it for years, it smells great and doesn't give you that burning feeling if you choose not to apply it continuously. Since the product contains wax it is thicker/firmer and harder to work through the initial first layer. I usually apply Burt's Bees beeswax peppermint lip balm first, then put Carmex on top (since Carmex provides a glossy shine, and Burt's has a matte finish). Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, 1 ea: I bought a tube of this lip balm from my local drug store and I am officially hooked. Goes on smooth and tingles just the right amount. Makes my lips feel great without leaving them greasy. When compared to the previous brand of lip balm I was using, I think its worth paying the extra money for this product. My previous brand had to be applied often throughout the day which meant I was buying replacements every month. This lip balm lasts longer because I don't have to keep reapplying it often. I order it from drugstore.com because I get a bit of a discount on the price compared to the local drugstore. Added bonus. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, 1 ea: Every spring and autumn, my lips will feel dry and you can see the crack on my lips. I had already tried many other products, but they didn't work.My friend introduce this one to me and told me it's good to use. After use it in two days, my lips didn't feel dry. It's amazing. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, 1 ea: Honestly, for the price this is amazing. I've been buying this lip balm for a long time. It's so good that I got my boyfriend into buying this product because he sees how well it works on me. This actually works. It has a really nice mint smell (think doublemint gum). Don't buy any other lip balm but this one, it's so worth it. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, 1 ea: This stuff is great for winter and chapped lips. Unlike other chap-sticks, my lips don't get addicted to this kind. With other brands, if i didn't apply every so often, my lips would start to sting. I basically would get to the point where I had to put chap-stick on every 15 minutes otherwise I would get really painful stinging lips. This stuff is different. It doesn't matter how often I use it, my lips never get addicted. It soothes chapped lips and protects again cold and wind. The only thing I would point out is that this particular one has a minty flavor with a cooling effect. So if you are purchasing this one, make sure it's the flavor you want. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, 1 ea: I am always in search of the perfect lip balm. I carry about 4 or 5 different brands with me always. Burt's Bee's is very, very soothing. I find that I re-apply it more often than the other brands, but it's no big deal. It's great at keeping your lips soft. I would recommend to anyone. Displaying reviews 21-30 |
