I used chapstick brand for years, but I just can't take the constant drying and bad tastes anymore. I got this and it is AMAZING! It tastes herbal and yummy and pomegranate is really good for you. I do have a few problems with it though-- it's moisturizing but didn't really "heal" the chappedness I've had recently from not using chapstick as often. Also, it aggravated my throat, which was kind of disappointing. It's a little pricey by my standards, but I love that it's natural and cruelty free. I'll probably try something with less scent next time and see if that helps, but overall I really, really LOVE this stuff. Buy it! I have all the different kinds including honey, and sun balms, this one is my fave next to the honey one. My prob seems to relate to others in the fact that it does not last long at all. All organic/natural products do that. There is only the slightest tint if I apply 20 layers on, so I was a tad disappointed of that. Maybe it's not supposed to- anyway, overall I like the texture, smell, and taste but I have to apply it too often. This pomegranate balm sounds good but it doesn't taste good. It looks red but actually adds no tint to the lips, which is good. I will use it but wish i had bought the grapefruit one instead. I like the texture of the product -- not too thick or greasy -- and it goes on smooth. There's not a strong flavor but there is a nice pomegranate smell. And, I love that it is slightly tinted. In fact, I often wear this instead of a lip gloss or lipstick. The color doesn't last as long so I have to reapply, but my lips stay soft and kissable, never sticky! A little goes a long way - if your lips feel waxy, you've applied too much. (Two tubes should last a couple of months.) The color is beautiful and neutral, suitable for all complexions. I've have bought several different scents and they all smell wonderful. The mango butter is my favorite but I like the acai and pomegranate ones too.
