I used chapstick brand for years, but I just can't take the constant drying and bad tastes anymore. I got this and it is AMAZING! It tastes herbal and yummy and pomegranate is really good for you. I do have a few problems with it though-- it's moisturizing but didn't really "heal" the chappedness I've had recently from not using chapstick as often. Also, it aggravated my throat, which was kind of disappointing. It's a little pricey by my standards, but I love that it's natural and cruelty free. I'll probably try something with less scent next time and see if that helps, but overall I really, really LOVE this stuff. Buy it! I have all the different kinds including honey, and sun balms, this one is my fave next to the honey one. My prob seems to relate to others in the fact that it does not last long at all. All organic/natural products do that. There is only the slightest tint if I apply 20 layers on, so I was a tad disappointed of that. Maybe it's not supposed to- anyway, overall I like the texture, smell, and taste but I have to apply it too often. It has a soapy smell/taste and not as moisturizing as the regular lip balm. And, eh, it's alright, but not anything better than any other stick balm out there. It smells just like the black original ChapStik, not very girly or sweet, more of a manly smell. The consistency is smooth, not thick or too thin. But, it only stays as long as, and only moisturizes as well as, any other balm out there. I wasn't a fan of the original because of its waxy texture, it was way too thick. This glides on smoothly and moisturizes nicely. The smell is also more of a subtle sweet smell which is nice. I always have several balms and glosses in my purse at once but I think I'm ready to slim that down to just this one! The slight pink tint is a nice addition; it gives your natural color just the right boost without looking fake. I keep a tube at my desk, in my purse, by my bed, etc. It really helps to combat the winter dryness and stays on longer than many other lip balms I've tried.
