I used chapstick brand for years, but I just can't take the constant drying and bad tastes anymore. I got this and it is AMAZING! It tastes herbal and yummy and pomegranate is really good for you. I do have a few problems with it though-- it's moisturizing but didn't really "heal" the chappedness I've had recently from not using chapstick as often. Also, it aggravated my throat, which was kind of disappointing. It's a little pricey by my standards, but I love that it's natural and cruelty free. I'll probably try something with less scent next time and see if that helps, but overall I really, really LOVE this stuff. Buy it! I have all the different kinds including honey, and sun balms, this one is my fave next to the honey one. My prob seems to relate to others in the fact that it does not last long at all. All organic/natural products do that. There is only the slightest tint if I apply 20 layers on, so I was a tad disappointed of that. It doesn't last long after that unless you apply it a few times over, but when it wears off your lips will be so soft. Great purchase! BTW, it doesn't smell like pomegranate.  Pros

It hydrates lips much better than the Original version, although I prefer the peppermint flavor over this. I like pomegranate, but they made this a little too flavored. Could have done without the extra "flavor" ingredient and just stuck with the natural pomegranate oil. I also don't like the red color. I use lip balm under my lipstick & prefer not to have competing colors. And the color ingredient (Carmine) can be derived from insects although there are vegetable alternatives too. The ingredients on mine are a little different than those posted here. Burt's Bees website has the most up to date ingredients list. Despite the flavor & color this lip balm is still 100% natural. Overall it was an ok, but I probably won't be purchasing again. Pros

This is the only lip balm that helps keep my lips from looking like a molting snake. Pros
