I used chapstick brand for years, but I just can't take the constant drying and bad tastes anymore. I got this and it is AMAZING! It tastes herbal and yummy and pomegranate is really good for you. I do have a few problems with it though-- it's moisturizing but didn't really "heal" the chappedness I've had recently from not using chapstick as often. Also, it aggravated my throat, which was kind of disappointing. It's a little pricey by my standards, but I love that it's natural and cruelty free. I'll probably try something with less scent next time and see if that helps, but overall I really, really LOVE this stuff. Buy it! I have all the different kinds including honey, and sun balms, this one is my fave next to the honey one. My prob seems to relate to others in the fact that it does not last long at all. All organic/natural products do that. There is only the slightest tint if I apply 20 layers on, so I was a tad disappointed of that. I bought some items and had been using them when I noticed carmine as an ingredient. I looked it up and found out that it was what I thought. It is made from beetles! I contacted BB's by email and have not received a reply back yet. I did find a hidden away section on their website that confirms the ingredient. Vegetarians beware. Pros

But finally I found one thats just right. This one works faster at making my lips feel moisturized and I liove the smell. I feel like I'm putting on Vapo Rub on my lips each time. I bought two other natural lip balms to try out at the same time- Desert Essence Lip Rescue with Shea Butter and Yes To Carrots Lip Butter in Berry. I like those two a lot better based on texture and smell. Pros

It'll not produce miracles if you're suffering from severely chapped lips, but it makes them a lot softer and gives them a nice, healthy color. Pros

A friend years ago got me the origional one and I bought this one a year ago and have it everywhere in my house. This one is not as waxy as the others, goes on smooth and treats chapped dry lips great. I can not leave my house with out this and if I run out I have been know to go out in the middle of the night to hunt it down at the drugstore,so now I stock up and have it in every room and handbag just to be safe!
