This is complicated by hot flashes. There are days when I don't stop sweating until I get back home. I have tried several other creams, which all worked to some extent to keep me feeling cleaner and rash-free, but they either stained my panties or had a medicine-like smell or worse. The Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment does not stain undies. The fragrance is clean and pleasant, with rosemary top notes. I don't smell like diaper ointment when I get hot--and no more heat rashes! I would like to see a much lower price, but a little bit goes a long way for this wonderful product. Numerous times the ointment has seperated and an oil comes out first when dispensing. This drips right through your fingers and onto whatever is below, the baby, his clothes, a silk duvet cover. I have tried to "mix" the tube prior to opening using a massage method with the cap on but the first thing out is still the oil. For this reason I do not recommend buying this ointment. It is far to messy and I don't have time to muck around with this product when i'm trying to change a diaper on the go. Although I got it as a gift, it's not worth the money. Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: I have tried other products (Desitin, Butt Paste, Aquaphor, etc) however, they did not cure or prevent rashes. This is a very creamy and rich formula that works even being rubbed off on the diaper during normal movement. This both cleared up and prevented the rash - a little goes a long way as well. It is a bit pricey. The only diaper cream I will ever use and recommend. Pros Cons Best Uses
Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: Product is very good - have beein using on my son since the time he was born. Sometime is it not fresh in tubes and hard to squeeze out or comes out with small lumps. Service and delivery comments: Delivery took over 10 days. VERY SLOW SHIPPING - if possible, make sure to buy way ahead of time and allow 5-7 days for drugstore.com processing - CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT HELPFUL!!!! Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: This product is so hard and stiff that it is difficult to spread on the baby's skin.I can barely use it. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: I am not commenting on the product's efficacy. My complaint with this product is the packaging. It is nearly impossible to use this diaper cream on a squirmy toddler because it is so hard to get it out. The tube is very stiff, and requires a lot of time and effort to get it out - and I don't have a lot of time to expend effort when I'm trying to get a new diaper on my squirmy toddler. It may be fine for a newborn who doesn't move, but don't buy this if your child moves when you are changing his/her diaper. I have written to the manufacturer and hopefully they will fix the packaging. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: I have tried almost every diaper ointment out there, but this is the only one that has worked for everything from serious diaper rash to everyday issues. I highly recommend it for any child. Pros Cons Best Uses
Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: I ordered this based on the reviews and I wanted to use something that was not petroleum based on my child. This is a thick white paste and smells very, very strongly of lavendar. It is like an overwhelming cologne for his butt. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: This is the most effective diaper rash cream we have found for our 2 year old. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: Burts Bees diaper cream is the only cream I buy! I love it! I've been putting it on my little ones for three years now, and it's the only cream I've used that actually works! It soothes a sore bottom, and prevents soreness, also. Plus, it smells wonderful! I've never had any luck with ointments or other creams, but when I tried this on my little one, it worked the first time and every time since. It's a little pricey, but definitely worth every penny! Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz: Had to throw it away. The smell of peppermint was so strong even with the diaper and clothes put back on that I could feel it in my sinuses. ![]() |
