This was the first baby wash we used with our son and while he never had sensitive skin, I'm grateful that it also never caused any irritation. I've always bought the fragrance free version of this but it does have a slight fragrance that I love. I find this suds enough for both body and hair and my son's hair is always shiny afterwards. We tried the Boudreaux version of this wash and I'm just waiting to get through it as it really doesn't wash off as well as this one so you spend a lot of time rinsing off. You only need a tiny bit of this product so it lasts a really long time. I only wish they offered this in a larger size than 12 oz size and that it could come with a pump.
My husband has difficult skin that gets rashes easily and his scalp is generally also affected. He's tried conditioners and mild shampoos from other manufacturers, but they all have synthetic fragrances in them and this only seems to make his problem worse. The Burt's Bees Baby Shampoo and Wash has only natural fragrances in it. This seems to sit well with my husband's skin. But don't assume that it has no smell at all because it says it is fragrance free. I believe that refers to the fact that they add no extra synthetic fragrances. The shampoo does have a very strong but pleasant smell.
