With daily use it leaves your skin smooth and health looking. I received many compliments because my face was glowing. I used the cream in complement with the Burt's Bees Rosewater & Glycerin Toner. Perfect combination! Best way to overcome excessive greasiness or shine, is by only using tabs (which only prolongs your usage of the item). I love it--my skin was softer and had better texture after a couple of days, and the smell is really good--kind of like carrot cake. The only reason I gave it three stars is that it is very greasy. The first night I used it I was a little concerned that it would stain my pillow (it didn't). I wouldn't use it as a day creme for that reason and was surprised that Burt's markets a Carrot Night Creme in addition to this one. Comments about Burt's Bees Carrot Nutritive Day Creme, 2 oz: I've used this creme for years and couldn't do without it. One jar lasts a long time because you need just a little. The trick is to warm it a little in your hand before applying. Rub it in well and wait a few minutes before applying make-up. If you have combination or oily skin, this probably isn't for you. My skin is very dry and this is the only creme I've found that continues to moisturize for hours. I use just a little bit for day and about 1/2 teaspoon at night. I don't use the companion night creme because this works great day and night. I like the smell, it is fresh and natural. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? It is very stinky, and does not absorb into the skin well. I had a sticky film on my face all day. Still could smell the odor a little after the end of the day. Even after a couple of hours, if I run a finger across my face, my finger comes away with a waxy orange film of greas. Looks and smells like icing – the vanilla scent is a little much. Be warned that the pigment in this yellow cream rubs off onto white clothes and if you apply it thick and don't rub it in extra thoroughly it leaves a yellow film that is visible on pale complexions. As others noted, it's greasy and doesn't work under make-up. Additionally it doesn't have any soothing effects - I had windburn on my face and applied this cream thinking it would help but it actually made the burning worse. In fact, it is actually sticky even if applied thin, so I use it before going to bed. When I wake up, it is still sticky, but after washing my face I notice it feels smooth and the fine lines are gone. I have tried many lotions and creams and none work as well as this one. It doesn't clog my pores. It goes on ultra lite and leaves my skin silky smooth all day long without being greasy.
