This is my favorite Burt's Bees product. It doesn't dry my skin out or leave it feeling oily. It doesn't moisturize my skin as well as other face washes I've used but it does leave it feeling smooth.

This was really nice stuff, it has little things in it that are like a rough scub so it feels a little like sand on your face, but after your face feels so smooth and even, smells good too.. only thing if you dont rinse your face good enough the little scrub things stay on your face as long as you rinse good perfect

I'm usually not into reviewing products, but I feel like it's my duty to warn others about this cleanser. I tried this minutes ago for the first time. It's so harsh, it gave me a chemical burn on my chin. It felt like I was rubbing Icy Hot on my face. Although my skin is slightly dry, I wouldn't characterize it as sensitive, so I'm shocked that my skin reacted so terribly to this product. I'm throwing it away as soon as I'm done typing this review.

Great product for dry skin. It is a good exfoliant that made my skin feeling softer, not dry like other soaps can. It is pretty gentle on my skin too. I don't know how well it works as a deep cleaner since I'm not prone to black heads or break-outs but it works really well for me.

While I am a long time Burt's Bees fan, this is my first time using this particular facial cleanser. You only need to use a small amount to get that tingly, clean feel. I have never had a complaint about Burt's Bees so for me, it is another great product from this company.

I can't even begin to rave enough about this product. I got through high school with essentially acne free skin, and then my skin exploded during my freshman year of college. I haven't known what it's like to be zit-free in 3 years now.
I've tried every over-the-counter product you could name, including all the 3-step systems (Proactiv, Clean & Clear, Paula's Choice, etc.)
Finally, after 2 months on a really expensive system I was just over it and decided to give up and just deal with it. So I bought this cleanser and stopped using anything else aside from moisturizer.
The difference it made in just the first two days is RIDICULOUS. It's completely counterintuitive because it's full of oil, but my face hasn't been this acne-free in years. I'm now a firm believer in the less is more philosophy, and that just leaving your skin clean but not stripped is the best medicine.
Now if I could just do something about my horrendous scarring...

I love the Burt's Bees line. I like to use natural products on my skin now that I've discovered how many potentially cancerous chemicals there are in our food and beauty products. I purchased this cleanser because I wanted something gentle and natural to comfort my skin after years of using products with Salicylic Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide. Nothing was clearing up my horrible adult acne. I tried everything from ProActiv to Neutrogena and all they had done was make my skin drier, redder, and generally more irritated. Finally I had had enough and said I'll keep my acne- I just want my skin not to feel so dry. I tossed all that other stuff and bought this cleanser and Cetaphyl facial moisturizer. This cleanser cleared up my skin in about 9 days. I have spent hundreds of dollars on acne products and prescriptions only to discover a [$] miracle. Isn't that funny?

I used this while I was deployed in Iraq. I had terrible acne (the 110-150 degree weather & dust didn't help) and I wanted to get rid of it while I was down there.
This product didn't make my skin worse but it didn't improve it. I used the whole tube and was like OK...what's next?? I still got acne. I liked the smell though.

I have been using Burt's Bees deep cleansing cream for about two years now and LOVE IT as this is an excellent value for the money. I use this cleanser by dampening my face with water and then applying a nickel size amount to my skin in which the product will cream up (You need to make sure that you do not use too much water but do want your face damp enough.). Afterward, I follow-up with a toner. What I like best about Burt's Bees deep cleansing cream is that it gently cleans my skin, and leaves it refreshed, invigorated, and not dried out. And using this facial cleanser in the winter is an absolute must though I like to use it all year round.
