After trying just about every product in the poison ivy/itch aisle in drugstores, this soap saved my summer! I combined its use with a blocking product before I worked outside, then lathered with this and cool water when I returned from outside. I bought 2 so I have one on hand always! I have not been able to find this in retailers that sell other Burts' Bees products. Thank you drugstore.com for stocking everything[...]

It was the middle of the night and I was going nuts with about 30 mosquito bites...all I could find was this product that had bought "just in case" a kid got into poison ivy. Despite the smell, I used it & it really soothed the itch. Now I'm "spot" using it on itchy bites. I'm really sensitive to smells, but the soothing effect over-rides my desire for a pleasant fragrance!

I've used this many times on occasions that I know I have been exposed to poison ivy. When you use it immediately after exposure it is super effective! I will not be without this soap and anyone that works outside at all should have it for those "uh oh" moments when you realize you're in a patch of the bad stuff.

No one in our house has wanted to use it yet due to the smell. Only have had a small rash on the hand from my son, so no large exposure to worry about it to have to endure the smell and try it out.

I always get a severe case of poison ivy Burt's really worked well to keep it under control. Jewelweed is the key.

I used this product for a rash on my arms. It dulled the itch and aided in speed of healing.

it does what it says: dries out the poison ivy fast, will be reaching for this first the next time i get poison ivy! worth the money IMO and I am a very frugal buyer. has a sharp woodsy smell but i kinda like that too

I am allergic to poison ivy. I had a bad case last summer and the prescription creams and antihistamines weren't working. After three weeks I had it above the knees to my waist and all over my neck; and it was still spreading. I tried this soap and within 24 hours the rashes started to dry up, no new spots developed. If you already have the rash- scrub this soap on to the rash with a rough cloth or gauze pad.
