I find most lipsticks dry my lips, and supposed lip balms don't seem to do anything but make my lips waxy. Burt's Bees lip balm seems to actually help heal the chapping. The fact that it also has color is a plus!

This has a nice color and just a little shimmer - looks fresh and natural, not heavy or painted-on. It could be a little smoother/less sticky, but I can live with it as is. Smell/scent is minimal, which I like. Probably won't purchase it again because it's pretty expensive in that you only get the tiniest bit of product, most of the packaging is applicator. Will go back to my favorite lip protectant and/or gloss.

I have blonde hair and blue eyes and am fair-skinned, and I think the color Peony compliments me. It feels almost like a lip chap and is very moisturizing, and shimmers nicely. This color is not very flashy or anything, but is just a nice neutral kind of pink.

I have tried many different $15+ lipsticks and lip glosses. This is absolutely the best. Good staying power. Really moisturizes. Doesn't leave dry clumps. Doesn't bleed. Smells great. No taste. Looks pretty. Great colors. Can't beat it. And it's so wonderfully priced!

I decided to give the Burt's shimmers another try. I had been unhappy with a few colors I tried last year. But the new Peony shade is by far the best color for me! A sort of peachy rose tint, it is not overwhelming or garish. It has just a hint of shimmer which I liked since I'm 29. I love the shade, it matches the cap color. Has the classic Burt's lip balm feel and scent, its hard to go wrong with this good stuff.

I love this lip stuff - i don't know whether to call it chap stick or lip stick or lip gloss because it's a little of all three. It has a wonderful natural mint flavor, even application, and moisturizes beautifully. My only issue is that the color is almost non-existent, and i had been wanting something a little pinker. But that's okay, in all other aspects this product is a gem that i am happy to have discovered.
