I like many of the Burt's Bees product, especially their Lip Shimmers. I have several colors and Peony is my favorite. It looks very natural and goes well with my fair skin and auburn hair tone. It does a good job of moisturizing my lips, especially during cold Iowa winters. There is a bit of peppermint taste but that is not unpleasant to me, although some past reviewers have mentioned it bothered them. I find it refreshing. These shimmers are small enough to stick in your pocket if you're going out and not carrying a purse. They are my favorite lip shimmer/lip balms on the market and I think they are reasonably priced. I'm 57 and I've got my daughters (31, 25, 23) wearing these lip shimmers now!

The product smells good and feel natural on your lips but for me it peels my lips after an hour or so. Maybe its the peppermint working, but every time I use Berts Bees it makes my lips peel

I find most lipsticks dry my lips, and supposed lip balms don't seem to do anything but make my lips waxy. Burt's Bees lip balm seems to actually help heal the chapping. The fact that it also has color is a plus!

This has a nice color and just a little shimmer - looks fresh and natural, not heavy or painted-on. It could be a little smoother/less sticky, but I can live with it as is. Smell/scent is minimal, which I like. Probably won't purchase it again because it's pretty expensive in that you only get the tiniest bit of product, most of the packaging is applicator. Will go back to my favorite lip protectant and/or gloss.

I have blonde hair and blue eyes and am fair-skinned, and I think the color Peony compliments me. It feels almost like a lip chap and is very moisturizing, and shimmers nicely. This color is not very flashy or anything, but is just a nice neutral kind of pink.

I have tried many different $15+ lipsticks and lip glosses. This is absolutely the best. Good staying power. Really moisturizes. Doesn't leave dry clumps. Doesn't bleed. Smells great. No taste. Looks pretty. Great colors. Can't beat it. And it's so wonderfully priced!
